(wtf? Blogger lost my post!)

Sorry for the trouble. Would you send me your MozyHome log file? It should be at C:\Program Files\MozyHome\Data\Mozy.log. Sometimes it looks like a text file named "Mozy", so look for that if you don't see "Mozy.log."
If you find that there is no MozyHome directory in Program Files (only "Mozy"), then you have an older version of Mozy and you should update your client to the newest version at https://mozy.com/account/download.I will check the log file i will try my best to get you a credit for the days you couldn't use Mozy.

That's the useless answer I got. I cancelled my account and am demanding a refund. They've been billing me despite the fact that I cannot use the service. Oh, I have a Mac, so there's no C:\Program Files\anything. Had anybody taken ANY time to look at the ticket history (It's been going on since January 28th) then they'd know I have a Mac. Clueless idiots.

Got a reply back. Yes, they do rate limit uploads. I'm not too happy about that because I don't remember seeing it mentioned anywhere in the FAQ or support documents. Instead I got canned replies (with incorrect information on their own product, actually) instead of a simple answer.
I haven't even mentioned the issues that I'm having with the *second* computer on the account. So far, Mozy has been a complete waste of time and money. I'd be better off with a hard drive at the colo and rsync.

I have also emailed Mozy twice, both yesterday afternoon. It's more than 24 hours later and I haven't received a reply. Not even an auto reply either.
So far I am happy that I didn't go ahead with the 1 year option just to get a free month. It's taken me almost a full MONTH so far and my initial backup (granted, it's 300gb, but they said "Unlimited") is STILL GOING. I asked if they rate limit uploads because the max that I get is 130KB/s and I know for a fact that it's not my pipe.
Damn you, Mozy.

Yup. Time to revisit Blogger. Haven't been here since 1999, actually. I'm pretty surprised that Blogger is still around. Oh, that's right.. Google bought them out. I forgot about that.
